Company Overview

Brooks & Associates (B&A), LLC is a management consulting firm with 8(a) certification.  B&A is a team of seasoned Certified Public Accountants and Management Consultants experienced in all phases of financial management including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, program administration, systems development, internal control compliance and business process reviews.   B&A has extensive background in accounting, reporting, auditing, and budgeting in the Federal sector.

The firm also has broad management and technical experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and managing information and  systems for mainframes and personal computers.   B&A is skilled in procedural and operations flow analysis and improvement techniques.  B&A is also an accomplished leader in project and program management with success implementing multiple projects and programs of varying size and complexity. The firm also provides customized training to Federal agencies.

Additionally, B&A provides training to Federal employees and contractors.  These courses include instruction in financial reporting, the U.S. General Ledger, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles issued by the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board.  These courses are taught on behalf of the Department of Treasury – Financial Management Services and The Graduate School, USDA.
