EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

Mr. Brooks has extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and consulting. He has held senior management positions on consulting engagements with the Federal Housing Administration - Housing Urban Development (FHA - HUD) the Bureau of Census (BOC).   As a senior manager on a project with HUD, Mr. Brooks and his team performed account reconciliations, analytical reviews, and prepared schedules and supplementary information in support of FHA – HUD’s financial statements.  Mr. Brooks is Managing Director of Brooks & Associates (B&A), LLC, and frequently serves as the engagement partner or project director on Federal engagements.

 

Mr. Brooks has held managerial positions at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management Department of Justice, Department of Army, the Department of Commerce, and National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.  He has managed accounting supervisors, senior accountants, accounting technicians, and clerical staffs. He received several awards during his tenure in the Federal government. Mr. Brooks also teaches Federal accounting and financial reporting courses for the U.S. Department of Treasury – Financial Management Services and the Graduate School, USDA.

 

GEORGE E. CARR, MBA

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

Mr. Carr has extensive professional experience as a project director and senior management consultant.  He has more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience in both the public and private sectors.  During the last ten years, he has performed in a variety of consulting capacities providing accounting and financial management support services to the Federal Aviation Administration, Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service, the Resolution Trust Corporation, US Department of Housing and Urban Development – Community Planning and Development and the Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census (BOC), Department of Finance.   For the last three years he has been project manager with the BOC.  In this capacity, he manages a team of senior accountants contracted to provide a wide range of general ledger support services.  These include, account reconciliation including cash and payroll, budgetary account relationship reviews, assistance with the preparation of FACTSII/SF133, business process reengineering and data cleanup.

Mr. Fudzie has extensive professional experience as a senior consultant and audit manager.  He has more than 10 years of accounting and financial management experience in both the public and private sectors.  Mr. Fudzie has performed in a variety of capacities providing accounting, audit, and financial management support to Department of Housing & Urban Development-Ginnie Mae, Corporation of National Services, Department of Agriculture, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Department of Justice, Federal Transit Administration, Office of Comptroller of the Currency, and the Resolution Trust Corporation.
